Why My Work Is Different
Art Rooted in Rural Georgia
Many artists paint animals. Many photographers photograph horses. What makes my work unique is that these subjects aren't occasional projects—they're part of my daily life.
I'm Andrea Webb, an artist and photographer based near Statesboro, Georgia, with more than 20 years of experience around horses and a lifelong appreciation for animals, agriculture, and the natural world. Since beginning my professional photography journey in 2020, I've specialized in equine, canine, and livestock portraits, creating artwork and imagery that celebrate the connection between people and the animals they love.
As the owner of a working homestead in Southeast Georgia, I spend my days caring for horses, managing land, observing wildlife, and documenting the realities of rural life. That firsthand experience allows me to approach every painting, photograph, and commission with authenticity, attention to detail, and a genuine understanding of animal behavior and personality.
My work is heavily influenced by the world beyond the studio walls—from the power and movement of a horse in the pasture, to the character of a backyard chicken, to the changing colors of a South Georgia sunset. Whether working with a camera, paintbrush, or mixed media, my goal is always the same: to create meaningful pieces that tell a story and preserve the beauty of my subject.
Known for my minimalist fine art style, particularly in photography, I often use clean black or white backgrounds to highlight the subject and create timeless artwork designed to be displayed and enjoyed for years to come. While based in Southeast Georgia and serving clients throughout Georgia, South Carolina, and Florida, my work has also taken me across the country and internationally in pursuit of unique stories and unforgettable subjects.
